This seminar aims to help seniors develop a rich understanding
of the history, politics, geography, society and demographics
of Israel and the modern Middle East. On the basis of this new
understanding, students will grow in the ability to form and
defend sophisticated positions on the issues, as well as to
discuss and critique a variety of perspectives. This unique
course should inspire questions, curiosity and a desire to continue
learning about Israel and the modern Middle East after graduation.
